Joy developed her interest in the veterinary field from an early age. Since about 5 years old she
realized her true passion for animals. Joy went to San Antonio College to study veterinary
technology and also volunteered as a vet technician assistant at a local animal hospital while
finishing up her degree. She has now been in the veterinary field for 5 years and plans on
staying in the field for several more.
